Hi-Res Scenes and Models

Most of the pieces below are personal work that I did in my limited free time. I am responsible for all aspects of the images below.

Los Heroes
This building in Santiago, Chile received a facelift a few years back and was featured on an architectural site.  I was fascinated with all of the colored windows and thought I'd take a stab at making a rendering.

Flamethrower
With FEAR 3 coming to a close, most of my time at work was spent polishing and bug fixing (as most games would go), so I spent my few hours outside of crunch mode working on a model just to keep me inspired.  Model is based off of a concept from CGHub.

V-ROD
Back in the hey-day I assembled motorcycles for Harley-Davidson on their assembly line.  While most of the bikes I assembled were their giant touring bikes, I remember how awesome it was to see some of the very first VRSCs roll off.  I decided to pay homage to one of Harley's coolest bikes.

Reich
A former co-worker of mine was working on Reich Downfall and while the game was unfortunately cancelled, I wanted to produce a marketing concept based off of the game.
Modeled in 3DSMax, Shader Setup, Lighting, and Rendering Done with 3DSMax Scanline.

Rock Study
This is a high poly sculpt done to test my Lenovo Helix.
Sculpted in ZBrush, Rendered with Keyshot.

50's Diner
Like most people, I enjoy food.  There's something about the American diner in the 1950s that is attractive with it's suburban, homestyle charm.  The scene itself provided some interesting surfaces to model and a less-than-straightforward shader combination.  The top image was given frontpage on Evermotion.
Modeled in 3DSMax, Shader Setup, Lighting, and Rendering Done with VRay.

Powerade
A little while back I had done this as a rendering test for a packaging company in order to acquire future contract work.
Modeled in 3DSMax, Shader Setup, Lighting, and Rendering Done with Mental Ray.

Toy Scene
As a father of a 1-year old, this was a common scene found around the house.  This was a simple, for-fun project just because I love Toy Story and I love seeing my son enjoy playtime.  All of these objects are real-world toys he played with.
Modeled in 3DSMax, Shader Setup, Lighting, and Rendering Done with VRay.

Wheel Assembly
This model was done to provide a client with an example of a simple explosion rendering for animation purposes.
Modeled in 3DSMax, Shader Setup, Lighting, and Rendering Done with VRay.
